(Norwalk) – Junior running back Nathan Rabadan carried the ball 15 times for 194 yards and a touchdown to lead visiting Alhambra to a 33-0 win over the Glenn Eagles in a nonleague game Friday night.<\/p>\n\n\n

Rabadan’s 99-yard scoring run late in the first quarter, which put the Moors ahead, 6-0, occurred rather improbably.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
First, the officials ruled that Glenn had downed a punt at the Alhambra one-yard line, even though the Glenn player involved slid into the end zone with the ball. Then, on first down, the Moors were penalized for illegal procedure, putting the ball half a yard outside the Alhambra goal line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the replay of first down, Rabadan took a handoff from quarterback Josh Calderon and burst through a seam off right tackle, blowing past four Glenn defenders and racing all the way down the visitors’ sideline for the score.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the second quarter, receiver Moses Llamas took a screen pass from Calderon 44 yards for a touchdown, and running back Chris Aguilar scored from 20 yards out to give Alhambra a 19-0 lead going into halftime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Moors added second-half touchdowns on a 27-yard run by Aguilar and a 45-yard pass from Calderon to receiver Zack Chacon. In the meantime, the previously unbeaten Eagles were unable to sustain any drives; the farthest they ever got was to the Alhambra 34, where they turned the ball over on downs in the fourth quarter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Calderon completed 10 of 16 passes for 177 yards, and Aguilar gained 48 yards in eight carries for the Moors. Alhambra rolled up 412 yards from scrimmage while holding Glenn to just 136 yards.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Glenn quarterback Ryder Perez connected on nine of 16 passes for 59 yards, and running back Matthew Vazquez rushed 19 times for only 50 yards. The Moors improved their season record to 3-2, and the Eagles fell to 4-1.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
