3. Number one ranked Texas beat Tennessee 20-17 Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. AP College Football Top 5: 1. Texas 2. Georgia 3. Notre Dame 4. Miami 5. Ohio State. USC is 18th. UCLA is 23rd. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Tampa Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield suffered a dislocated right thumb in his throwing arm in Sunday’s 23-16 loss to the Minnesota Vikings Sunday. He will get an MRI Monday to determine the status. The Buccaneers are 0-3 on the season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. The Chargers lost to the Buffalo Bills 24-16 Sunday to fall to 0-3. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. USC suspended linebacker Desman Stephens II one game for his conduct following a late hit on Dante Moore in the Trojans 41-27 loss to Oregon Saturday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. The Seattle Mariners fired manager Dan Wilson Sunday. Wilson led the Mariners to the AL Championship Series last year but Seattle finished 76-86, third in the AL West, this year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

9. The Dodgers beat the San Francisco Giants 5-1 in 10 innings Sunday to finish the season 100-62 on the season. The Dodgers won the NL West by nine games. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
