(Pomona) – Diamond Ranch outscored Rosemead 20-7 in the second quarter and that was enough to beat the Lady Panthers 50-33 Saturday night in the second round of the Division 3AAA Playoffs.

(Pasadena) – Pasasdena squandered all of a 16 point lead in the fourth quarter but recovered in time to escape with a 71-68 win over Downey Friday night in the first round of the Division 1AA CIF Playoffs.

(Rosemead) – Rosemead ran off the first 13 points of the game to deliver an early knockout punch and cruise to an easy 51-26 rout of Nogales Thursday night to advance to the second round of the CIF playoffs.

(Temple City) – Temple City scored 11 field goals in the first quarter and none in the fourth but still held on to beat West Valley 71-64 Wednesday night in the first round of the CIF Division 3AA playoffs.
