By Tim Peterson (Azusa) – Azusa Pacific racked up 24 hits in a 13-8 win over Biola Friday at the Cougar Baseball Complex in the first game of a doubleheader.

It started with quarterback Nico Iamaleava, who many expected to enter the NFL draft after last season. But Iamaleava opted to return to UCLA which was the first step in the right direction for the Bruins.
Cougars Walk it Off, 12-11
By Tim Peterson (Azusa) – Isaiah Rios ripped a single to left field in the bottom of the seventh inning to drive in the winning run and give Azusa Pacific a 12-11 walk off win over Jessup Friday at the Cougar Baseball Complex.

Cougars Jump on Hawaii Hilo Early
By Tim Peterson (Azusa) – Azusa Pacific opened up a 7-0 lead through the first three innings and went on to beat Hawaii Hilo 9-4 Saturday at the Cougar Baseball Complex. With the victory the Cougars swept the doubleheader after winning the first game 15-9.

Cougars Come up Short in Home Finale
By Tim Peterson (Azusa) – Azusa Pacific was down by just one at halftime but fell behind by 10 points in the second half and could never rally back in an 83-76 loss to Westmont Thursday night at Felix Event Center. It was the last home game of the season for the Cougars.
Cougars Win Slugfest, 11-9
