Lady Spartans Keep Pace in Rio Hondo Title Race

(Monrovia)  – La Canada knew going into today’s game that any loss would damage their chances of winning the Rio Hondo League title this season to San Marino. The Lady Spartans (19-4) didn’t stumble at all as they shook off the loss on Friday to the Titans with a pivotal victory over Monrovia, 7-0.

Bishop Amat moves into the top 20. It took some convincing because Amat hasn’t always been in our coverage area but 8-0 in the Del Rey league and 19-2 overall was too much to ignore. Glendora, Bonita and Monrovia all lost league games while Northview, South Hills and Arcadia remained perfect.
