Athletics Notes: Astros Series

By Tim Byrnes The Athletics concluded the 2026 season, losing 3-of-4 contests to the trash can-banging cheaters from Houston, while the Astros will continue on into the American League Playoffs, and play the Chicago White Sox, in the First-Round Wild Card Series.

Anthony Mirano scored four touchdowns for South El Monte. By Big George Hernandez (South El Monte) – Running back Anthony Mirano scored four touchdowns to lead South El Monte to a 37-0 shutout of El Monte in the Griffin Bowl Friday night in at The Swamp.
