Tamar Hill Calls it Quits at LC
(La Canada) – La Canada girls basketball head coach Tamar Hill announced her resignation Friday. Hill led the Spartans to a 24-7 record overall this last season and into the semi finals of the Division 3 CIF playoffs where they fell to Santa Margarita.

Gabrielino Girls Make History with Win
The Gabrielino girls made history Thursday night. Teresa Wang scored 24 points and Emily Ho added 18 to lead the Lady Eagles to a 58-39 win over Yucca Valley in the first round of the CIF Division 3A playoffs. This was the first playoff win in girls basketball history.
San Dimas Slides By South, 68-66
(South El Monte) – San Dimas let all of a 20 point lead get away but recovered in the fourth quarter to hold off South El Monte 68-66 Wednesday night in the first round of the CIF Division 3A playoffs.
