Arroyo Comes up Short, 12-0

By Rich Whittington (El Monte) – The Arroyo Knights suffered their first loss of the 2021 football season Friday evening, as the visiting Claremont Wolfpack posted a 12-0 victory in the first round of the CIF Division 9 playoffs, in front of a sizable, and very vocal, crown at B.L. Bergstrom Stadium.

By Tim Peterson (Downey) – Warren wrapped up the San Gabriel Valley League title and an undefeated regular season with a 26-16 win over Downey Friday night before a packed house at Allen Layne Stadium.

Ayala Mountain West Champs

By Alex Gonzalez Covina: The Ayala Bulldogs ended the 2021 campaign with a 40-14 win over Charter Oak Friday night at Lou Farrar field led by Chandler Carthan and Jedi Hernadez, who combined for 148 rushing yards and two touchdowns, claiming the Mountain West crown.

Moors Beat Lancers, Ride Coin Tosses Into Playoffs
