By Tim Peterson (Baldwin Park) – As expected Sergio Villasenor has stepped down at Sierra Vista Friday as Co Head Football Coach after two years. His son Matt Villasenor, who also served as Co Head Coach stepped down Tuesday.

By Tim Peterson (Baldwin Park) – Matt Villasenor has resigned as the Co Head Football Coach at Sierra Vista. Co Head Coach Sergio Villasenor is expected to step down as well and will let the administration know of his decision Friday.

(Alhambra) – The Whittier Christian Heralds, relying heavily on senior tailback Tyler Jauregui and doing just enough on defense, edged the Alhambra Moors, 21-20, Saturday night in a nonleague game played at Mark Keppel High.

Northview Wins Spring Finale

All Inglewood in M-Town, 58-19

By Tim Peterson (Monrovia) – Inglewood had all of its weapons on display jumping out to a 24-7 first quarter lead and cruising the rest of the way in a 58-19 win over Monrovia Friday night on the Wildcats home field.
