By Tim Peterson (Glendora) – Braydon Brus rushed for 170 yards and scored four touchdowns to lead Glendora to a 35-14 win over Downey Friday night at Citrus College in the first round of the CIF Division 3 playoffs.

By Alex Gonzalez San Dimas — With 3:06 left in the fourth quarter, San Dimas running back Jesse Samec scored the games clinching touchdown to put his team up 20-6, giving the Saints a victory over West Covina in the first round of the CIF-SS Division 9 playoffs Friday night at San Dimas high school.

By George Hernandez (Covina)- Rio Hondo Prep a school of 90 students got its biggest 11-man football win with a 37-30 victory over Charter Oak who has around 1300 students, Friday night at Lou Farrar Field.

By Rich Whittington (El Monte) – The Arroyo Knights suffered their first loss of the 2021 football season Friday evening, as the visiting Claremont Wolfpack posted a 12-0 victory in the first round of the CIF Division 9 playoffs, in front of a sizable, and very vocal, crown at B.L. Bergstrom Stadium.

Warren Wins League Title; Still Undefeated

Ayala Mountain West Champs

By Alex Gonzalez Covina: The Ayala Bulldogs ended the 2021 campaign with a 40-14 win over Charter Oak Friday night at Lou Farrar field led by Chandler Carthan and Jedi Hernadez, who combined for 148 rushing yards and two touchdowns, claiming the Mountain West crown.
