Burbank 25 Burroughs 7 – FINAL

(Burbank)- Burbank beat Burroughs 25-7 Friday night in “The Big Game” at Burroughs. Burbank finished the Spring season at 1-3 while Burroughs was 1-4. Here’s a few shots: (All photos by Doug Brown.)

Farrar Spoils Homecoming

By George Hernandez (Covina) – Vincent Farrar threw four touchdown passes for Charter Oak in their 42-13 victory over South Hills, Friday night at Covina District Field.

Braves Win Mt. Baldy

By George Hernandez (Hacienda Heights) – Drew Knight threw for 272-yards and a touchdown to lead Baldwin Park to a 31-13 victory over Wilson Thursday night at Wilson high school.

Arroyo 7 Rosemead 1 – FINAL

By Tim Peterson (El Monte) – Arroyo jumped on Rosemead for two runs in the first inning and went on to beat the Panthers 7-1 Wednesday in Mission Valley League action. It was the opening game for the Knights as they moved to 1-0 while Rosemead dropped to 0-2.

Game Night: Week 5

Cathedral 12 Temple City 3-FINAL

By Tim Peterson (Covina) – Sean Jastrab hit Hunter Grosenbach with a six-yard touchdown pass with 33 seconds left to lift Bonita to a 15-14 win over Charter Oak Friday night at Lou Farrar Stadium.

Panthers Prey on Los Altos

By George Hernandez (Hacienda Heights) – Diamond Ranch quarterback Mario Martinez Jr. hit six different receivers, threw three touchdowns and rushed for another in the Panthers 37-7 victory over the Conquerors Friday night at Los Altos. 

La Canada Blanks San Marino

By Rich Whittington (La Canada) – The La Canada Spartans scored first, and didn’t look back, Friday evening, as the host Spartans dominated the visiting San Marino Titans, 35-0, in front of an enthusiastic, Senior Night crowd at Spartan Stadium.
