Crescenta Valley Ends Arcadia’s Undefeated Run
By Tim Peterson (Arcadia) – Crescenta Valley scored two runs in the top of the second inning and it proved to be enough as the Falcons beat Arcadia 2-1 to end the Apaches perfect 23-game run Tuesday night at Giambrone Field.
Apaches Remain Undefeated
By Tim Peterson (Arcadia) – Andrew Scannel scored on a sacrifice fly by Chase Pedersen in the bottom of the eighth inning to give Arcadia a 4-3 win over San Dimas Saturday at Giambrone Field to capture the Babe Herman Tournament. With the victory the Apaches remained undefeated on the year improving to 21-0.
Monrovia Closes In; Routs Temple City
By Tim Peterson (Temple City) – Gabe Arellano and Steven Bermudez combined for seven hits and seven runs batted in to lead Monrovia to a 13-4 rout of Temple City Tuesday.
Northview Puts a 10 Spot on Covina
(Covina) – Ryan Humphreys got Northview started early with a solo home run and Joe Castillo ripped an RBI double in a three-run second inning as the Vikings went on to rout Covina 10-0 Wednesday in Valle Vista League action at Covina High.
Pasadena’s Percy Commits to New Mexico
By Tim Peterson (Pasadena) – Tavian Percy became the third Pasadena player to commit to a university Saturday when the 6’5″ forward/swingman announced he will attend New Mexico on basketball scholarship.
Cantwell Names C.J. Martinez Head Coach

By Tim Peterson (Arcadia) – Caden Ross threw a one-hit shutout and the Arcadia offense did the rest in an 8-0 win over Muir Monday at Giambrone Field.
