Baraq Ross and Viking Defense Propel Downey To Finals!

By Duane Barker (Mission Viejo) Baraq Ross rushed for 176-yards and three touchdowns and the Downey defense held Capistrano Valley in check as the Vikings advanced to the CIF Division IV Finals with a 41-21 victory on the campus of Capistrano Valley High School.

By Duane Barker (Montebello) The Montebello Oilers hosted the Apple Valley Sun Devils Friday night in the second round of the CIF Division 10 playoffs and the Sun Devils turned out to be rude guests. When the final buzzer sounded the scoreboard showed a 59-28 advantage for the visitors from Apple Valley.

Colts Leave Westminster Feeling The Burns II…Advance To Semi-finals

By Duane Barker (Montebello) The Schurr Spartans faced the Valley Falcons Friday night at Ken Davis field in the first round of the Division 11 playoffs. The Spartans got huge games from Miguel Aguero, Kevin Lopez and Francisco Remigio in the complete domination of the Falcons in a 49-14 rout.
