Moors Swept Away by Santa Ana

(Santa Ana) – Santa Ana led 15-0 at the half and went on to beat Alhambra 32-8 Thursday night in the first round of the CIF Division 13 playoffs.

Falcons Own the Pacific

By Tim Peterson (Arcadia) – Crescenta Valley racked up over 400 yards of total offense and went on to beat Arcadia 49-28 Friday night to secure the Pacific League championship. 

Matadores Calm The Storm

(Bellflower) The La Mirada Matadores traveled to Bellflower and Ron Yary Stadium to take on the Mayfair Monsoons in a battle for the Suburban League title. The Monsoons scored first but the Matadores scored often and came away with a 63-13 win Friday night and the league championship.

Conquerors A Perfect Ten 

By Alex Gonzalez (West Covina)— The Los Altos Conquerors completed a perfect season by defeating the West Covina Bulldogs, 24-0, Friday night at West Covina, claiming the Hacienda League title in the process. 

Schurr Finishes off Alhambra 41-28

(Alhambra) – Alhambra gave Schurr all it could handle but in the end the Spartans had enough to beat the Moors 41-28 to finish second in the Almont League.
