La Canada Too Much for Bonita

By Corey Kwok (La Canada) – Koko Kurdoghlian scored 16 points and pulled down 13 rebounds and Grant Arthur dropped in 11 to lead La Canada to a 50-38 win over Bonita Friday at the La Canada Tournament.

Millikan Tops Monrovia

By Corey Kwok (Pioneer HS) — Despite poor ball control which resulted in 44 turnovers, Monrovia stayed in close pursuit of Millikan from the early stages up into the core of the third quarter. That’s when Millikan loaded its cannons and fired away to put the game out of reach in a 90-66 rout of the Wildcats Wednesday night.

Titans Leave Sierra Canyon in State of Shock

By Tim Peterson (San Marino) – San Marino rallied from a three touchdown deficit in the fourth quarter to stun Sierra Canyon 36-35 Saturday night in the CIF Open Division State Bowl. And the Titans did it all without their starting quarterback, Carson Glazier, who was knocked out of the game in the second quarter with an injury.

San Marino Shines As CIF Central Division Champs

(Glendora) The San Marino Titans  turned in a stellar performance on both sides of the ball Saturday night and beat the Charter Oak Chargers 45-28 at Citrus College in the CIF Central Division Finals led by another standout performance by J.P. Shofi. It’s the first CIF title for San Marino since 1988.

Sierra Canyon Blanks San Dimas; Captures Mid-Valley Title
