North-South Fit to Be Tied at SGV All-Star Game
By Tim Peterson (Glendora) – The South rallied for two runs in the bottom of the seventh to tie the North 4-4 in the 10th Annual SGV All-Star Softball game Monday night at Citrus College.

Lights Go Out on the 605; East Emerges With Victory
By Tim Peterson (Whittier) – At Exactly 10:00 p.m., with 4:57 left in the fourth quarter, the lights went out on the 605 game Friday night. 15 minutes later, they came back on and the East maintained its lead and went on to a 31-26 win over the West at Pioneer High School.
