Maine is Done at Diamond Bar

(Diamond Bar) – Ryan Maine resigned as head coach at Diamond Bar Monday. Diamond Bar finished 7-5 overall in 2013 and advanced to the second round of the playoffs. They beat defending CIF Champion Downey in the first round.

Bulldogs Hold off Hoover

(Pasadena) – Pasadena opened up a 19 point lead in the third quarter and then had to hold on in the fourth quarter to beat Hoover 63-59 Friday night at the Dog House.

(La Canada) – La Canada jumped out to a 20-5 lead to open the game and never trailed in a 73-62 home win over La Salle Friday night. The win was number 600 for La Canada Coach Tom Hofman who is in his 28th year as the Spartans head coach.
