Covina Tournament: La Salle, Rowland, Roll to Victories
Freshman Milan Acquuah (above) led La Salle with 23 points (Covina) – La Salle and Rowland both jumped out to double digit halftime leads and went on to big wins over Charter Oak and South El Monte respectively Wednesday night at the Covina Tournament. Rowland’s margin of victory was so big there was a running clock in the fourth quarter.

(Azusa) – Diamond Ranch caught Covina in the fourth quarter and then outscored the Colts by seven in overtime to win 68-61 and capture the Azusa Tournament Championship Thursday night.
