Bishop Amat continues to roll. The only real question for the Lancers is how far they will go in the playoffs. Arcadia still owns the Pacific while Bonita has yet to lose in the Hacienda.
Pendleton Chooses Cal Lutheran
After months of speculation, Bonita quarterback Garrett Pendleton has chosen Cal Lutheran as the college of choice. “It was a combination of the coaching staff,” said Pendleton. “I will be able to play quarterback at a good school.”
Titans triumphant over TC
By Josh Lowden (Temple City) – While known for her dominance on the mound, it is her complete game that makes Michelle Floyd one of the best in the valley. Floyd struck out nine, hit a home run, and had two RBIs to lead San Marino to a 5-0 victory over the Temple City Rams.
O’Leary, Spartans Continue Streak
(Monrovia) – Another solid outing by Lauren O’Leary helped La Canada shutout Monrovia 7-0 to continue its undefeated Rio Hondo League record. O’Leary took a perfect game through the fifth inning before Nicole Guzman spoiled it with a single to right. She struck out six Lady Cats and only allowed the one hit.
