Saints Uprising In Fifth Leads To Win

(San Dimas) – A nightmarish fifth inning for Alta Loma’s defense allowed San Dimas to turn a one-run deficit into a six-run victory on Tuesday at the San Dimas Classic. The Saints went on to win 9-3 in opening round play.

(Temple City) – Erik Trask pitched five shutout innings and Arcadia withstood a late Temple City rally to beat the Rams 4-3 Tuesday in the semi finals of the Elks Tournament.

South El Monte’s Castellanos Signs Scholarship with Simpson University

(South El Monte) – Julissa Ray Catellanos, a three sport athlete at South El Monte High School, has signed a letter of intent on a softball scholarship to attend Simpson University in Redding, California in the fall.
