(La Canada, Ca) – An impressive defensive effort by La Canada enabled them to go on a 10-1 run to start the game and easily defeat Temple City 53-16.

(Monrovia) – The Blair girls racked up 22 points in the fourth quarter and pulled away to 56-39 win over Monrovia Friday in Rio Hondo League action. The Lady Vikings led by just two at halftime, 19-17, and increased the lead to 11 after three before putting it away in the fourth.

By Corey Kwok (Keppel HS) – Daniel Flores’ 14 footer with 8 seconds left in overtime lifted CIF Division 1AA’s ninth ranked Montebello to a 60-59 win over Keppel Tuesday night. Montebello improved to 20-1 overall and 3-0 in Almont League play while Keppel dropped to 15-4 and 2-1.
