  When we select our all Mid Valley high school football teams we want it to be special. We want it to be something that the player selected will remember for the rest of his life. We want him to cherish the memory and know that it is something that he earned.

How do you pick the best games of the decade? Final score, importance, a good parking spot? Factored everything, but of course everything is subjective. This is how we saw it, and we literally did see all of them. Love the MVL, and we will always love The Mid.

Grigg is Great for La Canada

By Corey Kwok (Pasadena) Downtown specialist Jeff Grigg hit 4 of 5 from beyond the arc in the first quarter and La Canada went on to beat La Salle 60-50 Saturday night on the Lancers home floor. Grigg had 18 points overall (all threes) to spark the Spartans.

(Pasadena) – Montebello raced out to a 33-6 halftime advantage then withstood a furious St. Francis rally to beat the Golden Knights 62-52 and win the La Salle/Temple City Holiday Classic Wednesday night at La Salle High School.    

La Canada and Chaminade to Meet in Semi’s

LA CANADA 46  VS FILLMORE 30 (La Canada, Ca)-  The Lady Spartans stifled Fillmore for three quarters enroute to a 46-30 victory in the final game of Pool A play to advance to the semi-finals of the New Year’s Ball Tournament.
