Lady Spartans Stay Unbeaten In League

(La Canada, Ca) – An impressive defensive effort by La Canada enabled them to go on a 10-1 run to start the game and easily defeat Temple City 53-16.

Lady Vikes Top Cats

(Monrovia) – The Blair girls racked up 22 points in the fourth quarter and pulled away to 56-39 win over Monrovia Friday in Rio Hondo League action. The Lady Vikings led by just two at halftime, 19-17, and increased the lead to 11 after three before putting it away in the fourth.  

M-Town Takes Down Blair in OT

(Monrovia) – Jonathan Henderson’s off balance 15 foot shot at the regulation buzzer sent the game into overtime and propelled Monrovia to a 64-57 win over Blair in the extra session Friday night. With the win Monrovia improved to 3-2 in the Rio Hondo League while Blair fell to 3-2 also.  

Lady Aztecs get on the Boards

By Corey Kwok (Keppel HS) – The Keppel girls out rebounded Montebello 45-27 and nabbed 23 steals on the way to a 61-33 rout of the Lady Oilers Tuesday in Almont League action.
