(La Puente)- South El Monte’s Ray Hernandez returned to his old digs to see senior quarterback Garrett Hrey throw three touchdown passes, James Fernandez score twice, Jesus Vargas punch one in and blow up the backfield in La Puente’s 35-6 win over the Eagles on Thursday night.

Nitros Catch Tigers Sleeping in 28-21 Win.

(Glendale)- Glendale held off a late charge by South Pasadena in the second half and scored on their first possession in overtime to take a surprising 28-21 victory.

Tesoro Terrific, 34-21

(Covina) – Tesoro ran out to a 28-6 halftime lead and went on to beat South Hills 34-21 Thursday night at Covina District Field. The Titans were led by quarterback Brett Mason who threw for 347 yards and three touchdowns. Zach Mitchell led the ground attack with 86 yards and a score.
