Kares Stop Santa Monica; Win Division 9 Crown

By Tim Peterson (Santa Monica) – Santa Monica quarterback Wyatt Brown’s pass on a two-point conversion attempt was knocked down by the Rio Hondo Prep defense with no time remaining and the Kares beat the Vikings 29-27 Friday night to win the CIF Division 9 championship.
