(Baldwin Park) – The Baldwin Park duo of Giovanni Resendez and Anthony Moran ran roughshod over San Gabriel in the Braves 26-22 win over the Matadors Friday night.
Moran collected the touchdowns with three and rushed for 87 yards while Resendez collected the yards piling up 228. Baldwin Park scored late in the fourth quarter to pull out the victory.
Andy Guerrero started for San Gabriel in place of the injured Eric Alvarez and completed 21 0f 32 for 140 yards but it wasn’t enough agaisnt the stingy BP defense.
The Braves have bounced back to .500 after losing its first losing its first two games. San Gabriel has lost three straight and is now 1-3.
Baldwin Park starts league play next week with a home game against Northview while San Gabriel hosts Rosemead.
