Game Night: Week 9 Southeast Division

Frankie Palmer & The Amazing Lancers

(All Games are at 7:P.M. unless otherwise indicated)

Del Rio League

Thursday, October 25

La Serna (7-1) vs Santa Fe (4-4*) at Cal HIgh

This game should be a blowout for the Lancers, but if folks were putting money down against the Chiefs the last few weeks they may now be eating a steady diet of government cheese and living in a van down by the river! Upset.

Santa Fe 32 La Serna 28

Friday, October 26

Whittier (3-5) at California (7-1)

The Cardinals are about to pay for the Condors sins. Expect Cal to come out in a real, real bad mood.

California 40 Whittier 14

El Rancho (3-5) at Pioneer (2-6)

The Dons are going to drop 50.

Hacienda League

Friday, October 26

Diamond Ranch (5-3) at Bonita (5-3)

When you’re hot, you’re hot. When you’re not, you’re not. The Panthers are not, but the Bearcats are. Bottom line is you don’t know what you are going to get from DR, and they struggled against Rowland on the ground last week. I don’t know how they expect to stop RTO…Reggie Turner Overdrive.

Bonita 21 Diamond Ranch 7

Walnut (1-7) at Los Altos (4-5)

Tough call, but go with LA

Los Altos 31 Walnut 24

Diamond Bar (3-5) at West Covina (3-5*)

The Brahmas can make their whole season Friday night, they can be the fork that announces the Bulldogs are done. WC has had superior talent all season, perhaps now Maggiore has their attention.

West Covina 35 Diamond Bar 16

Pacific League

Thursday, October 25

Burbank (5-3) at Glendale (2-6)

As long as the Bulldogs aren’t hung over from last week’s loss to Muir, they should be fine. Muir didn’t undo all the Bank has accomplished this season, but Glendale can.

Burbank 38 Glendale 13

Friday, October 26

Muir (5-3) at Arcadia (4-4)

Both of these teams have become feel good stories this season. Both of these teams have benefited from staffs that have done a tremendous job. The Mustangs just have more weapons.

Muir 28 Arcadia 20

Hoover (3-5) vs Crescenta Valley (3-5) at Glendale High

Uh, yeah, …Tornadoes?

Hoover 21 Crescenta Valley 17

Burroughs (3-5) at Pasadena (1-7)

The Indians stay alive, and put another nail in the PHS season.

Burroughs 42 Pasadena 14

Suburban League

Friday, October 26

Mayfair (3-4) at Bellflower (4-4)

This is it for the Bucs, their regular season ends tonight. The Monsoons have been shutout three times, but Bellflower doesn’t have the defense to do that. Feeling here is Mike Fitch will direct the Mayfair running game, keep the explosive side of the Buccaneer offense on the sideline.

Mayfair 24 Bellflower 14

Norwalk (6-2) vs Glenn (1-6) at Excelsior Adult School

This one will make Paranormal Activity 4 seem like a Disney movie.

Norwalk 56 Glenn 0

San Gabriel Valley League

Friday, October 26

Dominguez (4-4) at Downey (6-2)

It’s not often we slip through some cracks and get a shot at everything, but the Dons have. The fortuitous nature of the universe has given them a forfeit win along with three straight wins over the dregs of the SGV league…Now, when they should be there best, they get the Vikings. Wow…Mmm…Upset.

Dominguez 28 Downey 21

Lynwood (3-5) at Gahr (3-5)

Yawn.

Gahr 20 Lynwood 10

Warren (0-8) at Paramount (7-1)

See Norwalk versus Glenn above

Paramount 60 Warren 7
