1. UCLA’s Shabazz Muhammad announces he is leaving school for the NBA after one year.

2. Tracy McGrady signs with the San Antonio Spurs.

3. Former NFL player and legendary broadcaster Pat Summerall passes away at 82. Summerall announced 16 Super Bowls.

4. Oregon acknowledges major recruiting violations and proposes a self imposed two year probation to the NCAA.

5. Former Dodger Joe Blanton, who signed a two-year $15 million deal with the Angels last winter, is 0-3 with an 8.59 ERA in three starts.

6. USC coach Lane Kiffin has listed quarterbacks Max Wittek, Cody Kessler and Max Browne as co-starters on the “end of spring” depth chart. A starter isn’t expected to be announced until training camp which begins August 3.

7. Georgetown’s Otto Porter Jr. and Michigan’s Trey Burke are both leaving school for the NBA draft.

8. Nogales is 14-3 overall but 1-2 and in fifth place in the Valle Vista. San Dimas is in first place at 5-1, 16-5 overall.

9. Baldwin Park’s Ben Fonseca is hitting .464 with nine extra base hits.
