9.) On this date in Los Angeles Rams history Pat Haden went 19 of 36 for 237 yards but was picked off twice as the Rams limped to a 10-0 victory over the Atlanta Falcons at the Coliseum. Frank Corral kicked a 19-yard field goal in the second quarter and Cullen Bryant added a 1-yard run in the fourth to make L.A. 2-0 on the season. The Falcons, and their famed “Gritz Blitz” fell to 1-1.
