2.) On this date in 2002 Arroyo defeated Temple City 16-14 at North Field. A few weeks later a clerical error by Arroyo was discovered by CIF and the contest was officially forfeited to TC. “That game will always be a win in the Arroyo record books,” said then Arroyo HC D.J. MacKinnon.

3.) Crescenta Valley quarterback Brian Gadsby has 12 touchdown passes in two games.

4.) Adrian Gonzalez’ Rbi single in 10th inning plates Carl Crawford and gives Dodgers 3-2 victory over the Giants. Bums magic number is now 5.

5.) Santa Fe’s defense is only allowing 9-points per game in rocekting to a 3-0 start.

10.) Buroughs 30-7 victory over North Hollywood last night is first non-league victory since defeating El Rancho in the first round of the 2010 playoffs, 41-21. It’s the Indians first victory over a non-league opponent in the regular season since defeating South Torrance in 2009, 34-12.
