5. Glendora and Ayala boy’s basketball are 7-2 in Palomares League heading into the final week. Tartans face South Hills, Bulldogs play Diamond Bar.

6. Ayala girl’s basketball are currently 8-1 in league and could clinch sole possession of first place with win over Diamond Bar.

7. APU’s Kelly Hardeman leads the team with 19.2 ppg. The Cougars return home to face BYU-Hawaii on Thursday night.

8. Greg Poppovich garnered his 1000 win last night.

9. Ed Sabol the founder of NFL films passes away at the age of 98.
