1. With Cleveland’s Johnny Manziel and Tampa Bay’s Jameis Winston picking up wins, Sunday marked the first time in NFL history that two Heisman winning quarterbacks got their first career victories on the same day.
2. Cam Newton with 25, is now second only to Steve Young, 31, in games in which he has both rushed and thrown for touchdowns. Young needed 146 games to get to 31 while Newton has needed only 64 to reach his mark of 25.
3. Al LoCasale, who spent more than 30 years as Al Davis’ confidante, has passed away at the age of 82. LoCasale worked for the Raiders from 1949 until retiring in 2003.
