It’s happened before, just not really this century. In the 90s ER had a QB who ended up playing at Fresno State and made an NFL roster, his son just won a CIF title as the QB for Northview.

Never head of any ER players getting D1 offers. Who is he? I’ve seen a few do OK in JUCO.

The kid comes from a good family, if I’m not mistaken his father had D-1 rides out of El Rancho in the 90s. He would’ve been solid at ER, hard to crack the 4 deep at Mater Dei.

He went to MD but wasn’t a factor. Not going anywhere big maybe a JUCO. No size

The only Pico kid that was at mater dei this year that I know of is going to graduate in June, unless its someone else that I don’t know about. We could’ve used that kid in 2021.

Watch out Mater Dei. I just heard through the rumor mill that a football kid transfered back to El Rancho. If that starts happening who knows what can happen.

There is no more TC wolverines, and the PR Dons Organization is full of kids who don’t even live in Pico Rivera, what Adrian Medrano is doing is incredible, no other program does so much with so little. In 5 seasons 13 All CIF players, 4 Del Rio League Offensive POY’s, 1 Del Rio League Defensive POY, Multiple all area players, multiple playoff wins, QB’s throwing for 3,000 yards and 30 TD’s. Quality football is played at The Ranch, hope more people start realizing it.

The RB you speak of moved to La Habra before the 21 season, he played youth football in PR and wanted to stay with his friends, much different than what the Whittier, La Habra, La Mirada, Santa Fe Springs, Norwalk all star team aka La Serna has going on.

I think cal has your number? Wtf… For Cal to have a teams number maybe they gotta beat them first, Cal was supposed to have ER’s number with Vance, ER knocked him out of the game in 2021c Vance is now gone, good luck with that.

the La Serna accusations are always so entertaining ” district advantage” “hired players” ” all star team” If ER put together a all star team from Twin-Cities wolverines , PR dons, Whittier Football team then maybe there wouldn’t be a running clock in the 4th. Dont get mad get better. Goodluck this season

ER are you serious? I love how you can’t take criticism. ER fans talk so much crapola it’s amusing to trigger you all. I love the FB page where they think they gonna win league every year. No one is jealous of you trust me. I just love seeing you get worked. As for homegrown we know that’s not true. Your RB lived in La Habra and has a sister who goes to a rival school. So please stop spreading misinformation. I think Cal has your number this next season.

I got tons of love for the ranch, their support, tradition, history is amazing, ER is a very strong program, just the reality of things these days, LS has every advantage from the district to be able to continuously win, ER can be the team to dethrone LS, they’ve done it before but they gotta keep the kids home.

@Area & Anonymous: Why are you so ashamed of your team? We know it is La Serna. Is it jealousy? Jealous of our home stadium where you have to play all away games. Jealous of our fan base here on MVS. Jealous of our large loud crowds at games. Are you jealous that we play with local talent and not hired players. ER fans represent ER, La Serna fans always cower in the dark as Area and Anonymous. Why hide on threads about the Ranch you cowards.

Medrano has been on some nice runs in 2016, 2018 and 2019, so long as they don’t get another leuzinger type of opponent I’ll put my money on medrano and his staff to prevail. No one will come close to beating LS in the Del Rio.

ER ain’t making no run. Wishing thinking will finish 2nd in DRL. La Serna needs to move out. Whittier well they are Whittier. Cal should do well but probably not well enough.

Hope this is the last year we schedule Bell Gardens, Montebello and Norwalk. Nothing to gain by winning. Everything to lose by losing. Plus for sure low interest makes for low attendance.

Don Lugo- W but closer than you think. Lugo making a comeback this year
    BG- W
    Monrovia- L
Montebello- Another W but also closer
    Mayfair- L big
Norwalk- W. Wasn’t long ago that Norwalk was a power.
    Santa Fe- W
    Whittier- W
    La Serna- L
    Cal- L

6-4 season. If playoff system stays the same, the loser between Cal and ER will be better off than the winner except for bragging rights.

Probably a 7-3 or 6-4 finish with a playoff berth in D8-D9. With the addition of Vasquez and the return of a few key pieces Angel and Diego Diaz, Bojorquez, Hernandez, Carbajal, Rodriguez expect ER to make another run.
