  1. Michigan head coach Juwan Howard was suspended for the rest of the regular season and fined $40,000 for hitting a Wisconsin assistant coach in the head after a loss on Sunday. 
  2. Free agent guard Goran Dragic signed with the Brooklyn Nets for the rest of the season. 
  3. The Kansas City Chiefs released linebacker Anthony Hitchens which will save them about $8.4 million against their salary cap in 2022. 
  4. Junior WR/DB Jaylen Lopez, who had transferred from Damien to Charter Oak, has now transferred to Bonita. 
  5. The Rams are expected to name Kentucky’s Liam Ceon as offensive coordinator. 
  6. AP Men’s College Basketball Top 5: 1. Gonzaga 2. Arizona 3. Auburn 4. Purdue 5. Kansas. 
  7. LAFC opens the 2022 season Saturday at home against the Colorado Rapids. 
  8. NFL players Elijah and Rashaad Penny had their number 22 retired by Norwalk Tuesday. 
  9. On this date in 2021 Tiger Woods was involved in a car accident in Southern California seriously injuring both of   his legs. 
  10. Hall of Famer Julius Erving “Dr. J” turned 72 Tuesday.  
Rashaad and Elijah Penny with Jesse Ceniceros and Coach Ceniceros Sr. Ceniceros coached the Penny brothers at Norwalk before they went on to college and the NFL. Norwalk retired their #22 jersey Tuesday.

    MLB is going to wash out the 2022 season. Spring training towns losing a ton of cash. Owners and players seem to be okay with it. Owners sitting on billions in cash and players making millions on endorsements. MLB salary is their beer money.
