- The Lakers selected point guard Jalen Hood-Schifino from Indiana with the 17th pick in the first round.
- UCLA’s Jaime Jaquez Jr. was taken by the Miami Heat with the 18th pick in the first round.
- The Washington Wizards traded Chris Paul to the Golden State Warriors for Jordan Poole and future draft assets Thursday. The Wizards sent Bradley Beal to the Phoenix Suns earlier this week for a package including Paul.
- The Boston Celtics, the Wizards and the Memphis Grizzlies agreed to a three-team trade Wednesday night that sent center Kristaps Porzingis to the Celtics, guard Marcus Smart to the Grizzlies and guard Tyus Jones to the Wizards.
- The Dodgers beat the Angels 2-0 on both Tuesday and Wednesday nights to sweep the two-game Freeway Series.
