It’s been said here that they beat one of the two Inglewood squads in the disorganized BP tournament. I saw one of the Inglewood squads almost forfeit / disqualified because of chaotic changes in schedule etc ….
Safe to say that result was an aberration as real Inglewood squad beat everyone in the afternoon and didn’t hear a peep from Santa Fe.
True a lot of schools can be questioned for administrators decisions , but this is the place for fans to do it . Santa Fe has plummeted to the depths with no relief in sight #powerofthepen

Why pick on SF. Didn’t the new coach beat Mater Dei or somebody in a 7/7.

For some reason the AD at Santa Fe is only hiring people he knows, even though there are more capable alumni that want to go back and get the program back to what it was, but instead he hires alumni that was fired as a head coach 9 games into his first season as HC and didn’t even make it a whole season. The AD has been there too long and has forgot what the history of SF is. They may need to look for a new AD but I doubt they will.

Santa Fe’s administrators couldn’t care less about athletics. The big shots hire people they like, no matter the level of coaching competence.

For Santa Fe fans : Coach Agnew has resurfaced at Savanna (Anaheim). I guess going 1-19 and taking program to the depths of Del Rio and D14 is no deterrent!
He actually did ok / pretty good at before bottoming out at Los Amigos , not sure how it went so wrong at Santa Fe . When I saw them play they were both unimaginative and undisciplined.

I don’t understand why administrators recycle guys who are proven losers . And look for Santa Fe new coach to repeat pattern

NIL cash for high schoolers has changed the landscape. If you are on the hype radar it is best to go to a program that has established ties to big retailers. It makes no sense to pound away at a good program like La Serna when if you go to a Warren or SJB you can make millions as a high schooler. Nike alone has budgeted billions in signing young studs. They pay you to wear the Air Jordans.

    3. CIF needs to start doing this to High School football teams. Maybe then schools will stop hiring these “coaches” who’s best skill is poaching and recruiting underage kids.
