Have to agree with above posts. The ridiculous preseason schedule adds to the risk of disappointment! They will do well to be 1-4 going into league with only projected league wins vs Paraclete and woebegone Crespi…..how will the morale and support base hold up given these circumstances?

Agreed, LM was mediocre at best during that 2nd stint. Frankly I don’t see him faring any better than Zepeda.
19-18: Not a particular stunning record for Moschetti since he quit and came back. He did leave LM under a cloud full of accusations. What he does very good is self-promotion.
The mention of La Mirada and Moschetti brings to mind a belief of mine, specifically that Mike took the St Paul job as a stepping stone to getting hired in the Trinity league, specifically at Servite. Yeah, Servite has a new coach, and yeah, he’s going to flounder just like everybody else not named Troy Thomas.
Moschetti is going to prove two things at Swordsman land: (1) he’s a devout Catholic and (2) he can rebuild a program that’s stuck in the mud.
After doing a credible job at St Paul, Mike will be old enough to take early retirement from the La Mirada district, but still young enough to devote himself to boosting Servite football full-time. He will be the perfect candidate for that job…call him ‘Troy Light’.
La Mirada will not be the same without Moshetti and his staff, case in point look what happend the 1st time he left they took a nose dive quick.
No wonder Maxie relocated here… easy a@$ schedule.
