- Green Bay Packers tight end Tyler Davis tore his ACL in the preseason opener against the Cincinnati Bengals Friday night and is out for the season.
- Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin played in his first football game Saturday since he suffered cardiac arrest in a regular season game against the Cincinnati Bengals on January 2. Hamlin was on the field for 20 defensive snaps in a 23-19 win over the Indianapolis Colts.
- The Angels Shohei Ohtani will skip his next start Wednesday against the Texas Rangers with arm fatigue.

So please stop the fear mongering and the spreading of lies. If you were truly concerned about the lives of young people you should start looking at the main cause of death for people under the age of 18.
Caleb White, a 17-year-old basketball player from Alabama, died suddenly from cardiac arrest while practicing on August 11. Caleb was #3 in the state and # 43 in the nation in terms of potential. The young man wasn’t as lucky as Bronny James, who survived a similar cardiac event. Looks like the new demographic for heart attacks are kids under twenty.
