South Pas going back to Valley View (Moreno Valley) again one year later.
As the last Rio Hondo League team standing, I wish them good luck and hopefully they don’t have a repeat of last year when their bus broke down on the way to Moreno Valley.

Well final four after moving up in division is good for people who know the game; which is opposite of you

La Serna has averaged 8.5 points per game in its first two outings. Is that enough to exceed the points RHP is going to put on the board? I wouldn’t bet on it.

CH over Pacifica- Coach Johnson is one of those great neighborhood coaches who you would wonder how he would do with great talent. Well he has that and is proving his worth as a coach

RHP over LS- La Serna just not scoring enough points. The defense can only carry them so far and will have a tough enough time with Noah P.

SD over VC- Unless you see that San Dimas offense every year, it’s damn tough to stop it, especially in the competitive equity divisions.

BP over Western Christian- Coach Maxie’s group is one of the biggest beneficiaries of the competitive equity divisions. They’re probably 2-3 divisions too low. D-11 should be a cakewalk for them.

South Pas over VV- In recent years, I usually take the IE in these types of games, but So Pas should be able to run the ball and eat click.

Bellflower over Santa Paula- Running the ball in playoffs equals wins.

La Puente over Montebello- One of the best teams in the last 20 years in La Puente.

SEM over AB Miller- Same sentiment as So Pas VV game.

Pioneer over Anaheim- Puoneer is used to being in this spot and well all love seeing Rise get upset.

Pioneer’s not worth the effort to hate, so all you have is our pity. Pity doesn’t work in a headline.

The only difference between George and everyone else is he loses to La Serna in impossible fashion and he loves it, meanwhile everyone else hates losing to them. He must be a glutton for punishment.

I understand George Hernandez has prepared a conciliatory article titled “I still love La Serna” to be posted next Saturday morning after RHP finishes off his Lancers.
