  2. Mikaela Shiffrin of the United States won the gold medal in Women’s slalom Wednesday.
  3. UCLA head coach Mick Cronin ejected his own player – forward Steven Jamerson II – who committed a hard foul in an 82-59 loss to Michigan State Wednesday night.
  4. The Lakers have named Dodgers executive Lon Rosen as their new president of business operations.
  5. St. Paul is looking for a local matchup for Week 2 on September 4. It would be a home game for St. Paul because it is needed to balance their schedule. If interested reach out to head football coach Austin Montoya.

  10. The Chicago Bears journey for a new stadium took a step forward which could open the door for the franchise to leave Illinois. Indiana lawmakers in the state House Ways and Means Committee approved an amendment to Indiana State Bill 27 on Thursday that would clear a path for the Chicago Bears to build a stadium in Hammond, Indiana.
