- UConn guard Silas Demary is the son of former Arena Football League player Silas Demary, who played for the LA Avengers.
- Michigan has outscored its opponents by 22.5 points per game in the 2026 NCAA Tournament.
- Gerald Paddio, who played a significant role on UNLV’s 1987 Final Four team, was killed in a single-car crash in Louisiana Saturday. He was 60 years of age.
- Angels outfielder Jo Adell robbed Seattle of three homeruns in a 1-0 win over the Mariners Saturday night.
- Lakers star Luka Doncic suffered a Grade 2 left hamstring strain in a loss to Oklahoma City last Thursday and could be out at least four weeks. Austin Reaves has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 left oblique muscle injury and will be out the rest of the regular season.
- The Dodgers beat Washington 8-6 Sunday to complete a three-game sweep of the Nationals.
- Dodgers’ shortstop Mookie Betts was placed on the injured list Sunday with a right oblique strain and could miss four to six weeks.
