Gradilla Steps Down at Whittier Christian

(Whittier) The Whittier Christian Athletic Department has reported that head football coach Sergio Gradilla has stepped down after nine years at the reigns of the Heralds that included a run to the CIF Finals in 2010.

Mid Valley Player of the Year: Baraq Ross – Downey

A Most Valuable Player is a player that the team could not live without. He does a little bit of everything whether on offense or defense. He’s they type of player that if you removed him from the equation it could be the difference between first and fourth place.

Mid Valley Most Valuable Player: Steven Comstock – Northview

Northview’s Steven Comstock threw 28 touchdown passes and rushed for 12 more. On the season he completed 138 of 242 passes for 2,720 yards with just 8 interceptions.
