Big Evening for Eagles, SEM Routs View, 35-8
By Rich Whittington (The Swamp)—The South El Monte Eagles celebrated homecoming in a grand fashion Friday evening, as they blasted the visiting Mountain View Vikings, 35-8, at South El Monte High School.
Tigers Zero in on Moors
(Alhambra) – South Pasadena held Alhambra to just 130 total yards and went on to shut out the Moors 27-0 Friday night at Moor Field.

Mid Valley Writers Top 20
Not much movement in the Top 5. Everybody won except Cathedral who fell to Loyola, which is nothing to hang your head about. Several changes in the lower half as San Marino, Warren, Covina, South El Monte and El Rancho are all new to the Top 20.
