By Tim Peterson (Upland) – Jayden Flaig kicked a 42-yard field goal with four seconds left to give Yorba Linda a 9-6 win over Upland Friday night to win the CIF Division 3 championship.

By Rich Whittington (San Gabriel) – The San Gabriel Matadors won the CIF Division 13 Football Championship, the first in school history, Friday evening, defeating the visiting Bishop Montgomery Knights, 52-27, in the friendly confines of Matador Stadium.
