by Tim Peterson (Carlsbad) – Christian Lee scored four times and the defense made the key stops to lead Rio Hondo Prep to a 26-21 win over Santa Fe Christian Saturday night in the CIF Division 2A State Regional Bowl at Carlsbad High.
Rams Run by Arroyo
Temple City’s Mason Collins battles for a rebound. By Tim Peterson (Temple City) – Temple City overcame an early nine-point deficit and ran past Arroyo in the second half to beat the Knights 57-47 Tuesday night on the Rams home floor.
Young Standouts – All Mid Valley Team
By George Hernandez The 2025 football season has come to an end as the CIF champions have been crowned. Alta Loma and Northview will both bring back loaded rosters of underclassmen. Also the Bishop Amat defensive line and Charter Oak’s defensive backfield both have bright futures with a talented young group of players returning.

Rams’ Hang Clamps Down Moors
By Alex A. Gonzalez Temple City – Despite shooting 1-15 from 3-point land, the Temple City Rams’ defense, led by Gavin Hang, who had a game-high seven steals, forced 19 turnovers Monday night against the Alhambra Moors at Temple City High School as they squeaked out a 51-46 win.
