San Marino Falls to Franklin, 28-24

By Rich Whittington (San Marino) – The Franklin Panthers might have arrived at San Marino High School a few minutes later than usual Friday evening, but they came to play, defeating the host Titans by a score of 28-24.

Bulldogs Too Much for Tigers

(West Covina)- West Covina jumped out to a 21-7 lead at halftime and went on to a 35-14 win over South Pasadena Thursday night at Thyberg Stadium.

Anthony Chavez: Rest in Peace

Anthony Chavez, class of 2007, played football for the El Monte Lions with heart and passion. Number 44 played middle linebacker and fullback for head coach Joel Sanchez and was the definition of Lion Pride. May he rest in peace.

Damien answering every question so far. What Division will the Spartans be in? Muir won’t lose the rest of the regular season and Rio Hondo Prep looking to go 10-0. Monrovia and La Canada headed for a collision in the Rio Hondo. So far so good for Los Altos.

Bearcats Outlast Spartans 14-7

(Montebello) The Schurr Spartans and Bonita Bearcats hooked up in each of the teams last non-league game in preparation for league play next week. It was a defensive battle with the Bearcats holding on for a 14-7 win Friday night at Ken Davis field on the campus of Schurr High School.
