Cole Comes in Clutch for Ayala

By Alex Gonzalez (Glendora) — With 3:50 left in regulation, Ayala quarterback Cole McCain secured Glendora’s Xzavier Ford’s fumble on the 22-yard line sealing the 13-7 win for the Bulldogs, Friday night at Citrus College.

Alhambra Prevails in Offensive Firefight

By Rich Whittington (Montebello) – The Alhambra Moors overcame a 21-point second quarter deficit and earned a hard fought victory Friday evening, as the Moors topped the host Montebello Oilers, 55-48, in front of a near capacity Homecoming crowd at Montebello High School.

Alhambra Crushes Schurr in League Opener

By MVS Staff (Monetbello) – Sophomore quarterback Noah Rodriguez completed 14 of 22 passes for 261 yards and six touchdowns as the Alhambra Moors routed the Schurr Spartans, 69-27, in their Almont League opener Friday night.
