By Joe Torosian (Paramount)—The Downey Vikings defeated the Paramount Pirates, 28-14, to capture their sixth consecutive San Gabriel Valley League title. The Vikings have won the league outright or shared the title every year since 2011.

(Los Angeles) The Cathedral Phantoms and the St. Francis Golden Knights collided Friday night in a battle of unbeaten teams in the Angelus Leagues. After four full quarters of battle the Phantoms came out on top 24-17.

By Rich Whittington (La Puente) – The Nogales Nobles had little trouble dispatching the visiting Duarte Falcons Friday evening, as the Nobles scored 28 unanswered points to defeat the Falcons, 28-14, in front of the Homecoming crowd at Jack Jolley Stadium.
