By Tim Peterson (San Dimas) – Northview outscored San Dimas 28-6 in the second half and went on to beat the Saints 49-34 Friday night to lay claim as the best team in the Valle Vista League.

(Bell Gardens) – Alhambra jumped out to a 20-0 lead in the first quarter but then had to rally late to beat Bell Gardens 26-21 Friday night on the Lancers home field.

CV Routs Burroughs, 38-9
By Tom Hendrickson (Glendale)—The contest between Crescenta Valley and Burroughs is easy to sum up. The Falcons scored touchdowns and the Indians responded with field goals, and CV came away with a 38-9 victory on Friday night at Moyse Stadium in Glendale.
South El Monte Blanks El Monte, 19-0
By Rich Whittington (El Monte)—The El Monte Lions had little to celebrate Friday evening, as the visiting South El Monte Eagles ran, and kicked, their way to a 19-0 victory at El Monte High School.

St. Francis Rally Beats Salesian
(La Canada) – Michael Bonds hit Gabriel Matthews on an 80-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter which proved to be the decisive play in St. Francis’ 20-13 win over Salesian Saturday night at Friedman Field.
