Mid-Valley Division Top 4: Semi Final Edition
Covina, Monrovia and San Dimas all won as expected but suddenly San Gabriel has crashed the party. The game of the year is this Friday night as Monrovia travels to Covina District Field. Some people think of this as the real Mid-Valley championship game. San Gabriel hoping for a different result in the rematch with San Dimas.
Quarterfinals Quick Hits
Steve Garrison is back in the fold and officially on the coaching staff at Monrovia. He will return next year as well. “That was easy. If I would have known it was that easy I never would have left,” Garrison said after the Wildcats rout of Whittier Christian.

Matadores Rally Shocks Apaches
(Arcadia) – With 9:39 remaining in the third quarter, La Mirada could’ve dropped its head and finished out the season after getting down by 18 points. Instead, the Matadores rallied from that deficit to shock Arcadia 31-28 to move on to the Southeast Division Semi-finals next Friday night.

M-Town Beat Down, 67-21
(Whittier) – De’Shawn Ramirez scored four touchdowns on four big plays and Blake Heyworth threw three touchdown passes as Monrovia annihilated Whittier Christian 67-21 Friday night at Whittier College. With the victory the Wildcats advanced to the Mid-Valley Division Semi Finals.
