By Corey Kwok (Baldwin Park) – Freshmen Timothy Wells and Jordan Palacio came through in the clutch in the fourth and sixth innings, combining to deliver all three Baldwin Park runs to lead the Braves to a 3-2 win over Wilson Thursday in Valle Vista League action.

Arroyo-Rosemead Rescheduled
(Rosemead) – Wednesday’s Arroyo-Rosemead baseball game at Rosemead was canceled due to a flooded field. Apparently the water was left on over night by the construction crew rendering the field impossible to play on. The game has been rescheduled for Friday May 13.
Olescyski Joins Keppel Staff
(Alhambra) – Kirk Olescyski, who spent last year coaching the freshman at Citrus Valley High School in Redlands, has been named the Offensive Coordinator at Mark Keppel.
Ashby’s Big Day Leads the Way for CV
(La Crescenta) – Erin Ashby batted and pitched Crescenta Valley to a crucial 5-2 Pacific League win over Burroughs. The Falcon win gives it a share of first place in the Pacific with the Indians who won earlier in the season.
Spartans Close In On Title
By Josh Lowden (Alhambra) – After blowing a two run lead and allowing Keppel to tie the game, the Schurr Spartans pulled ahead in the final two innings en route to a 7-3 victory Tuesday afternoon.
